• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,260 - $2,380
• Orientation: 12 hours
• Schedule Notes: Some weekend shifts required; may float to Mother/Baby or other functional areas as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at submission
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Experience with high-risk Labor & Delivery, antepartum, pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiples, VBAC/TOLAC, inductions, and maternal emergencies
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, and NRP
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to work in a patient-ratio driven environment and adapt to unit needs
• Must be comfortable floating between units within the facility as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients
• Monitor fetal and maternal status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Support high-risk deliveries, including VBAC/TOLAC, inductions, augmentations, and maternal emergencies
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and related obstetric procedures
• Manage medications and therapies such as Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, and anticoagulation as ordered
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote excellent outcomes for patients and newborns
• Document care accurately in Epic and communicate effectively with the care team
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the labor and delivery experience
