Job Details

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift, as applicable
• At least 1 year of bedside clinical experience required
• 2 years of bedside clinical experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care or LTAC environment

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive nursing assessment within 8 hours of admission
• Develop and follow individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Support patient and family education based on identified healthcare needs
• Initiate discharge planning from day one and reinforce education throughout the stay
• Communicate changes in patient status promptly to the care team to support continuity and safety
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time
• Guide, train, and supervise ancillary nursing personnel as needed
• Promote a safe, positive, and efficient unit environment
• Participate in rehabilitation-focused care and ongoing professional development
