• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130

• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, surgical, renal, respiratory, and sepsis-related needs

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Experience in acute care, telemetry, stepdown, or progressive care preferred
• Active RN license in the state of practice or compact license eligibility
• BLS required
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• NIH Stroke Certification preferred
• Ability to read and verify rhythm strips
• Proficiency with lab draws and peripheral IV insertion
• Experience managing titratable cardiac drips, including pressors and insulin drips
• Experience with BiPAP and stable tracheostomy patients
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside nursing care to progressive care patients requiring continuous monitoring
• Perform thorough assessments, identify changes in patient condition, and respond quickly to evolving needs
• Administer medications safely and manage complex therapies per policy and clinical standards
• Titrate and monitor cardiac drips, including pressors and insulin infusions
• Support patients requiring advanced respiratory care such as BiPAP and stable tracheostomy management
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and maintain continuous ECG monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate effective care plans
• Educate patients and families while promoting safety, comfort, and positive outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of professional nursing practice
