• Shift: 12-hour night shifts with rotation across days, evenings, and nights as assigned
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; weekly hours typically 36, with 36- or 48-hour options based on assignment needs
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location and 2 years working as a traveler; 2 years preferred where applicable
• Experience interpreting telemetry strips and monitoring cardiac rhythms
• Ability to manage cardiac drips and accurately measure intervals
• Previous hospital float pool, Med/Surg Tele, or travel nurse experience preferred
• Comfort working across multiple units and adapting quickly to changing patient needs

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate telemetry nursing care across multiple acute care units
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry strips, and escalate changes in patient status appropriately
• Manage patients receiving cardiac drips and other monitored therapies
• Float between several Med/Surg Tele and related hospital units as needed
• Care for a varied patient population, including ED border patients, transfer-ready ICU patients, and other acute care cases
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient flow and quality outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit standards while using EPIC
• Adapt to rotating shifts and weekend coverage requirements with professionalism and flexibility
