Travel nursing opportunity for an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse in Quincy, IL. Join a supportive acute care teaching facility and provide high-quality maternal and newborn care during this 13-week L&D travel assignment.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in Labor & Delivery, OB, postpartum, nursery, or a related maternal-child health nursing role
Experience with Level 2 nursery or NICU-adjacent newborn care preferred
Active RN license
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and NRP
Comfort working in a teaching hospital environment
Ability to adapt quickly and contribute to a collaborative healthcare team

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, safe, and skilled nursing care to laboring patients, postpartum families, and newborns
Support patient care across Labor & Delivery, nursery, and postpartum areas as needed
Monitor patients closely and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or neonatal status
Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary staff in a teaching facility setting
Document patient care accurately in EPIC
Promote a positive patient experience through strong communication, teamwork, and clinical excellence
