Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN)
- Location: Idaho Falls, ID 83404
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 10/26/2026 or later
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
- Setting: Operating Room with a wide mix of surgical specialties
- EMR: Meditech
- Call: Rotating weekend call every four weeks; call shifts may be 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours
Job Requirements
- Active Idaho RN license at time of submission
- Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Trauma experience required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including call and weekend rotation
- BLS certification required
- CNOR certification preferred
- Burn, robotic, or neuro experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills and excellent teamwork
- Open, outgoing, and forward-thinking approach to patient care
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in a busy Operating Room
- Support a variety of surgical procedures including general, trauma, ortho, neuro, ENT, GI, urology, robotics, plastics, and more
- Assist with circulating responsibilities and coordinate care throughout the surgical workflow
- Respond to trauma cases and maintain readiness for emergent surgical needs
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, surgical technologists, and the broader perioperative team
- Participate in call coverage to help fill evening and night staffing needs
- Maintain compliance with AORN standards and unit policies
- Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-centered surgical environment
