Job Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• Progressive Care Unit, step-down, telemetry, or similar acute care experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient monitoring skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment
• Comfort caring for patients with varying acuity levels

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care in the PCU
• Monitor patients closely and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately and timely
• Maintain a patient-centered approach while promoting a positive care experience
• Support efficient unit flow and contribute to a collaborative clinical environment
