• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend per month
• On-Call Requirement: As needed, up to 1 per week
• Float Requirement: May float to sister units as needed

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU RN experience
• Strong Epic experience required
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current PALS certification from AHA
• Active Virginia RN license or compact license
• Ability to work effectively in a patient-centered, fast-paced recovery environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive care to patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU
• Monitor post-op patients and support pre-op and PACU workflow
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth patient transitions and efficient patient flow
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain clear communication throughout the shift
• Support a patient ratio of approximately 2:1
• Assist with coverage in sister units or the on-campus surgery center as needed
• Deliver compassionate care to patients ranging from infants to geriatrics
