Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Services
• Location: Albany, NY 12208
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,450 to $2,580
• On-Call: Possible on-call requirement

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Operating Room RN experience required
• Strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgery
• Ability to work effectively in a busy perioperative and surgical services environment
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the operating room
• Prepare surgical suites and support the team throughout procedures
• Assist with patient assessment, positioning, and intraoperative care
• Maintain a sterile field and uphold OR safety standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology, and surgical staff to ensure efficient case flow
• Respond to changing patient needs and support a variety of complex surgical cases
