Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of assignment
• Recent Neuro-Progressive, Stepdown, ICU, or Progressive Care Unit experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer
• Experience with a 5-bed Med-Surg rotation preferred/required as noted by the unit
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and patient communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Progressive Care Unit with neuro-focused needs
• Monitor patient status closely and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support safe, effective care
• Document care accurately and efficiently using Epic
• Follow unit standards, competencies, and clinical protocols in an acute care setting
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach in a busy hospital environment
• Adhere to dress code and unit-specific expectations, including required scrub color
