Job Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required; at least 1 year preferred
- Current Labor and Delivery RN certification
- Strong clinical skills in maternal care, newborn care, and obstetric nursing
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
- Compliance with onboarding, testing, and health documentation requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to laboring patients throughout the birthing process
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Assist with admissions, assessments, labor support, delivery, and recovery care
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and the multidisciplinary care team to promote safe outcomes
- Educate and support patients and families during labor, delivery, and postpartum transition
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold high standards of patient care
