Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Travel Assignment in Boerne, Texas

Job Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ER RN / Emergency Room Registered Nurse)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends or 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Start Date: 8/12/2026
• Location: Boerne, TX 78006
• Floating: Required as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Texas RN license required; temporary licenses are not accepted
• 2+ years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with urgent care, stroke, STEMI, and pediatric emergency patients strongly preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly in a high-acuity emergency care setting
• Comfortable working rotating weekends and supporting floating assignments when needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Assess, stabilize, and monitor patients presenting with chest pain, shortness of breath, trauma, stroke symptoms, and other urgent conditions
• Support rapid intervention for critical cases including STEMI, stroke, and pediatric emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver timely treatment and coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit policies and procedures
• Respond effectively to changing patient needs in a busy, fast-moving emergency department environment
