• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Location: Nashua, NH 03060
• Setting: Acute care Med/Surg with floating as needed to Rehab and Geri Psych units

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current New Hampshire RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• Basic Dysrhythmia certification preferred or obtained before completion of orientation
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or obtained before completion of orientation
• Graduate of an approved nursing program preferred
• Ability to complete required orientation and unit competencies
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to float to Med/Surg, Rehab, and Geri Psych units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, professional nursing care to patients on the assigned Med/Surg unit
• Carry out provider orders and support individualized patient care plans
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately each shift
• Use bedside shift report, multidisciplinary rounds, and hourly rounding to support continuity of care
• Promote a safe, secure, and positive environment for patients, visitors, and staff
• Identify and escalate patient care and safety concerns appropriately
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based safety practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support excellent patient outcomes
• Help orient, support, and precept new staff when appropriate
• Maintain current licensure, certifications, and unit-specific competencies
