Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification
• AHA Procedural Sedation Module
• Experience or strong comfort working in emergency department and med-surg settings
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing and med-surg care to diverse patient populations
• Assess, monitor, and respond to patients with acute and chronic conditions
• Support care for common diagnoses including CHF, COPD, pneumonia, UTI/AMS, post-operative recovery, and failure to thrive
• Assist with observation, swing bed, and outpatient infusion patients as needed
• Administer medications safely and maintain accurate clinical documentation in Athena EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary care team members to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain a calm, organized approach in a busy rural healthcare setting
