• Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,120 - $3,290
• On-Call: 3-4 shifts per month, including rotating weekend call and holidays
• Schedule: Variable and rotating shifts based on need; report time 30 minutes prior to shift
• Additional Notes: Scrubs provided; local candidates within 75 miles are welcome

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 4-5 years of operating room RN experience or combined OR experience
• Strong circulating experience required
• Scrub experience preferred
• Experience circulating ortho, spine, and neuro cases independently
• Ability to work flexibly across surgical specialties as needed
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Active Nursys verification required
• Must be eligible to obtain a Connecticut RN license within 24 hours of acceptance
• All time off must be requested at the time of submission

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for cardiovascular operating room procedures
• Support a variety of surgical specialties, including orthopedic, spine, and neuro cases
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology, and the perioperative team to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain readiness for rotating call, weekends, and holiday coverage
• Provide high-quality care in a busy, team-oriented OR environment
• Adapt to variable start times and operational needs with professionalism and flexibility
• Follow unit standards and contribute to a smooth, organized surgical workflow
