Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Experience in postpartum and antepartum care
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NRP certification
- Fetal Monitoring certification
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced maternal health environment
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to laboring patients and newborn families
- Support antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum patient needs
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to promote safe, positive outcomes
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the birth experience
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit standards of care
