- Location: Kansas City, MO 64132
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
- Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room
- Schedule Notes: Weekend and holiday coverage required

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of nursing experience required
- Emergency Department or Emergency Room RN experience strongly preferred
- Strong prioritization, critical thinking, and time management skills
- De-escalation training preferred; CPI preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, patient-focused healthcare environment
- Comfort working in a fast-paced emergency nursing setting with changing patient needs
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to Emergency Department patients
- Assess, prioritize, and manage patients in a fast-moving clinical environment
- Support care for patients requiring advanced equipment and emergency procedures
- Assist with procedures such as chest tube management and port placement
- Maintain a calm, professional approach when supporting de-escalation needs
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote safe patient outcomes
- Adapt to unit needs, including occasional floating as assigned
