- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,970 - $2,080

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience, including stroke stepdown experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current AHA BLS certification
- NIHSS certification required or must be obtained prior to start
- Skills checklist matching specialty
- Updated resume documenting relevant acute care experience
- Valid driver’s license with matching demographic information
- NURSYS verification of active RN licenses
- Ability to work nights and adapt to a busy inpatient healthcare setting
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for adult Med/Surg and stroke stepdown patients
- Monitor and assess patients with diagnoses such as stroke, altered mental status, COPD, CHF, pneumonia, renal issues, dialysis, and isolation precautions
- Administer treatments and manage specialty equipment including IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow established clinical protocols
- Respond quickly to changing patient needs in a fast-paced, high-acuity inpatient environment
- Float as needed to support unit operations and patient care needs
