• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,040-$2,150
• Location: Brownwood, Texas 76801
• Assignment Start: September 21, 2026
• Setting: Level II Maternal Facility with Level II NICU support

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery or related maternal care experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications as applicable
• Strong experience with fetal monitoring and obstetrical assessment
• Experience with Allscripts charting preferred
• Ability to work independently in a self-scheduling environment
• Travel nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to laboring, antepartum, postpartum, and recovery patients
• Support vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and recovery care
• Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and IV management as needed
• Assist with triage, labor support, and patient education throughout the birth process
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, coordinated maternal care
• Promote a positive patient experience through education, advocacy, and clinical excellence
