• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-Call/Weekend Rotation: Approximately one weekend per month and three weekdays per month
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
• Patient Coverage Area: Houghton, Keweenaw (partial), and Baraga (partial) counties

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of home health or home care nursing experience required
• Associate degree in nursing or higher
• Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills
• Experience with PICC lines and wound vacs preferred
• Ability to work independently, manage time well, and travel between patient visits
• Professional communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for patients in the home setting
• Complete admissions, recertifications, and discharges
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and related clinical treatments
• Teach patients and families about medications, treatment plans, and home care instructions
• Support ongoing patient management and coordinate care needs with the healthcare team
• Document visits accurately and maintain timely clinical records
• Travel between patient locations within the assigned service area
• Deliver high-quality care while promoting safety, comfort, and independence
