• Position: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Night shift, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• Shift Pattern: 4 days per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 40
• Setting: Operating Room / Surgical Services
• Location: Santa Fe, NM 87505

Job Requirements

• Current New Mexico RN license or active compact state RN license
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• At least 1 year of RN experience preferred; Operating Room or surgical nursing experience strongly preferred
• Ability to provide safe, age-appropriate care in a clinical surgical environment
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Comfortable with occasional call responsibilities and floating as needed

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the surgical population
• Perform thorough assessments and establish care priorities based on patient needs
• Reassess patients and respond to changes in condition or clinical trends
• Develop and carry out individualized plans of care in alignment with nursing standards
• Document interventions, outcomes, and patient progress accurately and timely
• Support patient and family education throughout the care process
• Participate in discharge planning and ongoing plan-of-care evaluation
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and team members to promote safe, efficient care
• Assist with point-of-care testing procedures as needed
• Contribute to a respectful, team-oriented environment focused on quality and safety
