• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 9/28/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; floating and call required
• Call Requirement: 2 twelve-hour call shifts every 6 weeks, including 1 weekend call shift

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• At least 2 prior completed travel nursing assignments in L&D required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• CPN certification and Cerner experience preferred
• Ability to pass an EKG competency check
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to floating within women’s services as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Monitor and support laboring patients while collaborating closely with physicians and the care team
• Circulate for vaginal deliveries and assist in the operating room for cesarean sections
• Support newborn resuscitation and immediate neonatal care during deliveries
• Perform triage for patients 20 weeks and above with confidence and accuracy
• Recover patients following vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Float between departments within the women’s pavilion as assigned
• Maintain safe, efficient, patient-centered care while following nursing standards and unit protocols
