- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 3x12 schedule
- Shift Duration: 12 hours
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800-$1,900
- Unit Size: 15 beds
- Patient Population: Adult obstetrical patients
Job Requirements
- Active Oklahoma RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- BLS and NRP required in hand at time of submission
- Basic to intermediate fetal monitoring experience required
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Strong experience with obstetric triage, antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
- Experience with high-risk deliveries preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
- Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal status
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and postpartum recovery
- Support patients with antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum assessments
- Administer medications and IV therapies according to unit protocols
- Perform obstetric triage, including assessment of contractions, pain, bleeding, and other concerns
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality family-centered care
- Float to like units as needed based on facility needs
