• Location: Columbia, SC 29203
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• Duration: 13-week travel nursing assignment
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,660 - $1,750
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; 6 weekend shifts per contract
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Orientation: 12-16 hours

Job Requirements

• Active South Carolina RN license or compact/multistate RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Orthopedic nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with patient ratios of 1:5-6 preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Flexibility to float to other qualified units or campuses as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult med/surg and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition promptly
• Support orthopedic spine patients through post-operative recovery, pain management, and mobility goals
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to the plan of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response support
• Assist with specialty procedures such as post-cath care, lumbar punctures, post-surgical care, and heparin drips
• Document thoroughly and accurately in Epic while maintaining excellent patient-centered care
