• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Schedule Highlights: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Floating/Cross-Training: Mother/Baby and NICU feeder/grower support

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Active RN license; pending license accepted with license in hand by the Wednesday before the start date
• Current BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications
• Epic experience required
• Ability to work confidently in a high-acuity maternity and women’s health setting
• Comfortable floating within scope of practice
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care for antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum patients
• Circulate C-sections and support OB procedures as needed
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal status
• Assist with triage, OB PACU, high-risk labor management, and newborn assessments
• Support patients with complex conditions such as preeclampsia, diabetes, preterm labor, and maternal-fetal complications
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
• Cross-train and float to Mother/Baby and NICU feeder/grower assignments when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in a dynamic acute care environment
