ICU RN Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification or ability to obtain as required
• Ability to work independently in a high-acuity critical care environment
• Strong communication, assessment, and prioritization skills

ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes quickly, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
• Support safe, evidence-based care delivery in a fast-paced critical care setting
