Travel RN opportunity in Columbus, Ohio for an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse. Support a high-acuity Level 4 maternity center and Women & Infant Float Pool while providing care across Labor & Delivery, Maternal Special Care, and Postpartum units.

• Setting: Level 4 Maternity Center / Women & Infant Float Pool
• Schedule Notes: Call required and weekend coverage required
• Float Requirement: Required to float between L&D, Maternal Special Care, and Postpartum

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant Labor & Delivery or women’s health nursing experience required
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate required
• AWHONN Advanced and EFM experience preferred
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced maternity and maternal-fetal care environment
• Strong communication skills and comfort with floating between clinical units
• Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions only

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in Labor & Delivery, Maternal Special Care, and Postpartum
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, including external fetal monitoring and ongoing assessment
• Support antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care needs for mothers and newborns
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean section recovery
• Perform newborn assessments and support couplet care
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments as ordered
• Educate patients and families throughout the birth and recovery experience
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, effective outcomes
