Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Current acute care experience in Med/Surg Tele or a related specialty required
• Recent, consistent experience within the last 12 months required
• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting experience required
• Telemetry experience and dysrhythmia interpretation required
• Willingness to float to equivalent or lower-acuity Med/Surg Oncology units
• Oncology nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
• Support patients receiving chemotherapy and symptom-management care
• Maintain a strong focus on infection prevention, fall reduction, and patient safety
• Administer medications and treatments according to unit protocols
• Manage ports, central lines, PICCs, IV starts, and blood product administration as needed
• Assist with dysrhythmia management, ABG interpretation, and respiratory support coordination
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Float as needed within comparable Med/Surg Oncology areas
