• Duration: 13-week contract
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 10 Hour Days
• Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards, sterile technique, and patient safety practices
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative surgical team environment
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to changing surgical schedules and patient care needs

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Prepare the operating room and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly
• Maintain a sterile field and support adherence to infection prevention protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, and surgical staff to promote efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process and document care accurately
• Advocate for patient safety, comfort, and continuity of care in the surgical setting
