• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• Float: May float to mother/baby as needed

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Texas or a compact state
• Minimum 1 year of experience in NICU, perinatal, or a related neonatal nursing setting preferred
• STABLE certification required
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Current NRP certification required
• BSN preferred
• Ability to complete orientation, competency validation, and annual requirements
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for neonatal patients in a Level II NICU
• Perform thorough assessments, identify care needs, and implement individualized nursing plans
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate clinical protocols
• Monitor patients for changes in condition, treatment response, and side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, interventions, and ongoing care accurately in the medical record
• Educate families and caregivers on care needs, resources, and follow-up support
• Support the emotional, cultural, and social needs of families with professionalism and compassion
• Collaborate with the care team to promote a positive, patient-centered healthcare environment
• Float to mother/baby when needed based on unit needs
