- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 10/5/2026
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Shift Duration: 12 Hour Nights
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
- Patient Population: Adults
- Unit Focus: Med/Surg Telemetry with nephrology, urology, benign hematology, and intermediate-care needs
- Call: No call
- Schedule Note: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
- BLS certification required
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required
- Strong telemetry nursing and intermediate care skills
- Experience with IV starts and peripheral line care/management
- Ability to interpret telemetry rhythms and manage dysrhythmias
- Comfort working night shift, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Previous travel nurse experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients
- Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Support care for patients with nephrology, urology, benign hematology, and medical-surgical needs
- Perform IV starts, maintain peripheral access, and assist with non-invasive airway support as needed
- Interpret rhythms and manage dysrhythmias in collaboration with the care team
- Follow isolation precautions and maintain strong infection prevention and control practices
- Document thoroughly and accurately in EPIC
- Float to other units within the organization as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to deliver excellent patient-centered care
