Job Details

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210
• Setting: Critical Care Float Pool supporting multiple ICU units
• Weekend Coverage: Minimum every other weekend
• Start Date: October 5, 2026

ICU RN Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Active compact or Ohio state RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system
• Experience with ventilator management, telemetry, IV starts, and critical care drips
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a critical care float pool across multiple ICU settings
• Care for adult patients with complex, high-acuity conditions and changing clinical needs
• Float to equivalent or lower acuity units as staffing needs require
• Manage ventilators, telemetry, cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, and other advanced ICU therapies
• Support procedures and interventions such as arterial line care, chest tube management, central line care, and EVD monitoring
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and respond effectively to rapidly evolving patient situations
