Job Details
- Position: ICU Registered Nurse
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
- Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210
- Setting: Critical Care Float Pool supporting multiple ICU units
- Weekend Coverage: Minimum every other weekend
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
ICU RN Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Active compact or Ohio state RN license in hand at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system
- Experience with ventilator management, telemetry, IV starts, and critical care drips
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a critical care float pool across multiple ICU settings
- Care for adult patients with complex, high-acuity conditions and changing clinical needs
- Float to equivalent or lower acuity units as staffing needs require
- Manage ventilators, telemetry, cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, and other advanced ICU therapies
- Support procedures and interventions such as arterial line care, chest tube management, central line care, and EVD monitoring
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, efficient patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and respond effectively to rapidly evolving patient situations
