Job Requirements

  • Active Montana Registered Nurse license required
  • AHA BLS certification required
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience in an emergency room, urgent care, or other acute care setting required
  • Experience in pre-hospital settings such as ski patrol, search and rescue, or EMS is preferred
  • Outpatient or walk-in clinic experience is a plus
  • Comfort using electronic health record systems and basic computer applications
  • Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and deliver timely, appropriate nursing interventions
  • Collect and analyze clinical data to support care decisions
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care and patient education
  • Promote patient safety and maintain a calm, supportive care environment
  • Collaborate with physicians and the care team to coordinate high-quality emergency and urgent care treatment
  • Document care accurately and complete required training and education on time
  • Practice with professionalism, confidentiality, and strong emotional intelligence in a busy clinical environment
