Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Colorado or a valid compact state
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• At least 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Experience in perioperative nursing, surgical care, or circulating RN responsibilities preferred
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must maintain HIPAA compliance and follow patient safety standards

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, compassionate nursing care to surgical patients and their families
• Assist with operating room circulation and support daily patient flow
• Support preoperative and perioperative patient care in a dynamic surgical environment
• Triage incoming patient requests and communicate effectively with the care team
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures as needed
• Deliver patient education to support informed healthcare decisions and wellness
• Coordinate care with providers and interdisciplinary team members to promote optimal outcomes
• Use sound judgment to delegate appropriately and uphold safe, individualized care
• Promote a positive patient experience through excellent communication and teamwork
