• Setting: 27-bed Emergency Department

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• 2-3 years of Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Completion of 2-3 travel nursing assignments required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required
• Strong experience in high-acuity, fast-paced ER environments preferred
• Comfort working with patient ratios of approximately 4-6:1
• Team-oriented, respectful, and adaptable approach to patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Emergency Department patients with a wide range of acuity levels
• Support rapid assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring of patients
• Assist with emergency nursing interventions including RSI, sepsis care, stroke protocols, and tPA administration
• Support central line care and management as needed
• Provide compassionate care for psychiatric patients in the emergency setting
• Coordinate transfers to other facilities in accordance with EMTALA guidelines
• Work collaboratively with physicians, medics, and fellow RNs to maintain efficient patient flow
• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care while adapting to changing priorities in a busy ER
