• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend Commitment: Four weekend shifts in a four-week scheduling period
• On Call: No on-call requirement

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• 2-3 years of Emergency Room RN / Emergency Department experience required
• Completion of 2-3 travel nurse assignments preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
• Ability to work effectively with patient ratios of 4-6:1

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a busy emergency department
• Respond to high-acuity cases including RSI, sepsis interventions, and stroke protocols
• Assist with tPA administration and central line care
• Provide skilled care for behavioral health and psych patients
• Support safe transfers to other facilities when indicated
• Work collaboratively with charge nurses, RNs, and medics to maintain efficient patient flow
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
• Contribute to a respectful, calm, and patient-focused team environment
