Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of registered nurse experience required
• BLS certification required
• Experience caring for post-operative patients preferred
• Comfort with dressing changes, wound care, and drain management preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital nursing environment
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and a patient-first mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for medical-surgical and post-operative patients
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and drain management as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to promote safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Advocate for patients and contribute to a positive care environment
• Support smooth patient flow while helping the unit maintain strong service and quality outcomes
