Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2-3 years of recent Emergency Room nursing or Emergency Department RN experience
• Completed 2-3 travel assignments preferred for this travel nursing role
• Experience working in high-acuity, high-volume emergency settings
• Comfort with patient ratios around 4-6:1
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Preferred certifications: ENPC, NRP, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Strong communication skills and a calm, adaptable approach

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Perform rapid assessments and respond quickly to changing patient conditions
• Support critical interventions such as RSI, sepsis management, stroke protocols, and central line care
• Provide care for behavioral health and psych patients as needed
• Coordinate transfers and ensure safe handoff processes
• Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, medics, and the broader care team
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and follow established ED workflows
• Contribute to a respectful, friendly, and team-focused unit culture
