Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care Contract in Galion, Ohio

• Schedule Notes: No blocked schedule; call may be required; may need to float as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Previous travel nurse experience required
• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Cardiac ICU experience preferred, including post-cath intervention, balloon pump, and Impella
• Ability to recognize and manage dysrhythmias and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Experience with arterial lines, central line care, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patients, and sheath removal
• Willingness to float to multiple campuses as needed
• Strong supervisory references and a solid work history required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients in the ICU
• Monitor cardiac status and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Manage complex therapies, drips, and advanced cardiac support devices
• Support pre- and post-cardiac intervention patients with precision and confidence
• Collaborate closely with rapid response and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safe, evidence-based nursing practices
• Adapt to float needs and call requirements while delivering excellent patient care
