- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; weekends and holidays as needed
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
- Unit: Labor & Delivery
- Setting: Level II trauma environment with strong patient volume
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- NRP certification required
- RNC certification preferred
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be 100 miles from the facility and have an active driver's license in the submission packet
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and comfort in a fast-paced maternity care setting
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring patients, postpartum patients, and newborns
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
- Support physicians, labor and delivery nurses, and the care team during admissions, deliveries, and postpartum transitions
- Respond to changing patient conditions with sound clinical decision-making in a high-acuity hospital environment
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the birth experience
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols and best practices
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on quality outcomes and patient safety
