- Position: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Location: Chillicothe, OH 45601
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour days
- Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; weekdays, every other weekend, and holidays
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
- Unit Type: Level 2 Labor & Delivery
- Patient Population: Patients 32 weeks and above
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required; 5+ years preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Epic experience preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-based healthcare environment
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius
Responsibilities
- Triage laboring patients and assess readiness for Labor & Delivery care
- Assist with and circulate cesarean sections as needed
- Provide collaborative support for labor and delivery alongside physicians and midwives
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately during labor, delivery, and recovery
- Complete postpartum recovery care following vaginal and cesarean births
- Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered maternity care in a dynamic L&D setting
