• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 7/29/2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,640 - $1,730
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, unless scheduled as a weekender
• Orientation: Bi-weekly
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric care
• Documentation System: ED Paragon

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 2-3+ years of recent Emergency Department or ER nursing experience
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIH Stroke certifications
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required at minimum; additional education welcome
• Ability to safely manage patients across a range of acuity levels in a busy emergency setting
• Strong critical thinking skills and confidence recognizing changes in patient condition
• Team-oriented, friendly, hardworking, and adaptable personality

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency nursing care
• Assess, monitor, and respond quickly to changes in patient status
• Care for patients presenting with chest pain, abdominal pain, psychiatric concerns, and other emergency conditions
• Work effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support timely treatment
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
• Provide care for a diverse patient population in a 17-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Participate in self-scheduling and collaborate with the team to support staffing needs
