• Position: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Travel Nurse)
• Location: Camden, New Jersey

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360–$2,480
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Orientation: 12 hours
• Floating: Required based on staffing needs within the care network
• Scheduling: Block scheduling not permitted

Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to circulate and scrub for C-sections
• Comfortable managing a 1:6 patient ratio environment and higher-volume needs as assigned
• Must successfully complete a dysrhythmia competency during orientation
• Strong clinical skills in fetal monitoring, labor support, and obstetric patient care
• Ability to provide required documentation and compliance items at submission

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and obstetric patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and support C-section preparation and recovery
• Circulate and scrub for cesarean deliveries as needed
• Perform triage, patient assessment, and ongoing labor management
• Administer medications and therapies in accordance with obstetric protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support safe outcomes
• Document care accurately in Epic and maintain strong communication throughout the shift
• Adapt to evolving patient needs and float to designated areas when required
