We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse with behavioral health experience to support a geriatric psychiatry unit. You will work alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary care team focused on patient safety, therapeutic support, and high-quality mental health nursing care. - Setting: Behavioral Health / Geriatric Psychiatry

- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Shift Duration: 12-hour night shift
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- End Date: January 18, 2027

Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- At least 1 year of current behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- CPI certification, or willingness to complete Calm Every Storm certification if accepted
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based, high-acuity mental health environment
- Flexibility to float to other inpatient adult behavioral health units as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting
- Support admissions, discharges, and ongoing patient assessments
- Monitor patient status and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain a therapeutic, respectful, and supportive environment for patients
- Respond appropriately to changing patient acuity and unit needs
- Document care accurately in the EMR
- Promote a culture of teamwork, compassion, and patient safety
