• Position: Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN)
• Setting: Behavioral Health / Geriatric Psychiatry

• Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shift
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• End Date: January 18, 2027
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• At least 1 year of current behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• CPI certification, or willingness to complete Calm Every Storm certification if accepted
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, high-acuity mental health environment
• Flexibility to float to other inpatient adult behavioral health units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting
• Support admissions, discharges, and ongoing patient assessments
• Monitor patient status and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain a therapeutic, respectful, and supportive environment for patients
• Respond appropriately to changing patient acuity and unit needs
• Document care accurately in the EMR
• Promote a culture of teamwork, compassion, and patient safety
