• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,160 - $2,270

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; compact license must be in hand at submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• ACLS preferred
• Experience with labor, preterm labor, triage, and high-risk deliveries strongly preferred
• Ability to assist with C-sections, post-op care, and gynecologic procedures
• Must be comfortable floating based on skill set, including Post-Partum if needed
• Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
• Support low-risk and high-risk obstetrical patients with excellent clinical judgment
• Assist with deliveries, including high-risk deliveries when assigned
• Manage triage patients and assess obstetrical concerns in a timely manner
• Circulate for C-sections and assist with pre-op and post-op responsibilities
• Administer and monitor therapies such as blood products, magnesium sulfate, insulin, and pain management medications as ordered
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to promote positive outcomes for mothers and newborns
• Maintain a calm, reassuring presence in a fast-paced clinical environment
