- Position: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
- Shifts per Week: 3
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,160 - $2,270
- Setting: Labor & Delivery unit
- Location: Issaquah, Washington
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; compact license must be in hand at submission
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
- ACLS preferred
- Experience with labor, preterm labor, triage, and high-risk deliveries strongly preferred
- Ability to assist with C-sections, post-op care, and gynecologic procedures
- Must be comfortable floating based on skill set, including Post-Partum if needed
- Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
- Support low-risk and high-risk obstetrical patients with excellent clinical judgment
- Assist with deliveries, including high-risk deliveries when assigned
- Manage triage patients and assess obstetrical concerns in a timely manner
- Circulate for C-sections and assist with pre-op and post-op responsibilities
- Administer and monitor therapies such as blood products, magnesium sulfate, insulin, and pain management medications as ordered
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in Epic
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to promote positive outcomes for mothers and newborns
- Maintain a calm, reassuring presence in a fast-paced clinical environment
