• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,110 - $2,220
• On-Site: Yes
• Float Requirement: May float to Post-Partum and nearby sister facilities based on skill set
• Holiday Commitment: Must be willing to work required holiday coverage as assigned

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission; compact license accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate required
• ACLS preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Strong experience with obstetrical triage, labor support, and high-risk delivery care
• Ability to provide two professional references covering the last year of experience
• Must be flexible and open to floating as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate maternal and newborn nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Support low-risk and high-risk labor and delivery cases, including preterm labor
• Circulate for C-sections and assist with OB-GYN procedures as needed
• Perform triage assessments and monitor maternal/fetal status throughout the shift
• Assist with blood and blood product administration, epidural and PCA pump management, and medication therapies such as magnesium sulfate and insulin
• Care for patients requiring wound care, heparin therapy, and other obstetrical interventions
• Attend deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and support transition nursery care when needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse midwives, and the care team to maintain a safe, efficient, and positive patient experience
