• Setting: Emergency Department / ER Nursing
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Start Date: September 21, 2026
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Rotating days/mids; 3x12 or 4x12 schedule options
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Holiday Coverage: As scheduled
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000 - $2,110
• Patient Population: Neonates through geriatrics
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: 24 hours

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Charge nurse experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Experience caring for a patient ratio of 1:4
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certification
• Experience with Epic charting preferred or required
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced ED with a broad range of diagnoses
• Willingness to float within the ED specialty as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritization in a busy Emergency Department
• Support care for complex and acute conditions including stroke, respiratory distress, behavioral health concerns, trauma, and medical emergencies
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and support advanced interventions as needed
• Monitor and respond to dysrhythmias, ventilatory support needs, and critical changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Float within the ED specialty and to nearby sister ED locations when required
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and compassionate care environment for every patient encounter
