• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts; days and nights
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Openings: 4
• Charting System: EPIC
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Unit Focus: Medical oncology and benign hematology with telemetry monitoring

Job Requirements

• Current RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in the Med/Surg Telemetry specialty
• Current specialty experience and consistent recent practice required
• BLS certification required
• Strong telemetry interpretation and telemetry monitoring skills
• Experience with medication administration, IV starts and maintenance, isolation precautions, and dysrhythmia recognition
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to float to other Med/Surg Oncology units as needed
• Comfort working variable weekends based on unit needs
• Two professional references required, including one from a manager, director, or other formal leader

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality medical-surgical nursing care to oncology and telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, maintain IV therapy, and support blood product administration as assigned
• Support patients receiving chemotherapy and those with complex medical-surgical needs
• Maintain a strong focus on infection prevention, fall reduction, and patient safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Document care accurately in EPIC and maintain timely communication with the care team
• Float to other Med/Surg Oncology units when needed to support patient care
• Deliver dependable care in a setting that values teamwork, professionalism, and flexibility
