- Duration: 13-week travel assignment
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800-$1,890
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Level III NICU experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced NICU setting
- Team-oriented, compassionate, and patient-focused approach to neonatal care
- Preferred: delivery experience, NICU/PICU experience, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to neonatal patients in a fast-paced NICU environment
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in acuity
- Perform and assist with procedures such as UAC and UVC insertion and intubation support
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists, nurse practitioners, and the multidisciplinary care team
- Deliver compassionate, family-centered care while advocating for infants and families
- Support individualized daily plans of care and contribute to positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit policies, procedures, and best practices
