ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Assignment in Lone Tree, Colorado

  • Environment: 30-bed critical care unit with Meditech EMR

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU experience
  • Current RN license in good standing
  • ACLS, BLS, and NIH certification required
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity critical care environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing assignments and patient acuity during the shift
  • Preferred: Neuro certification, neuro experience, and trauma experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU/CCU
  • Monitor patient status closely and respond to changes in condition promptly
  • Support interventions such as rapid intubation, chest tubes, and EVD management
  • Care for complex patients, including LVAD and CCRT populations
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit policies, procedures, and best practices
